Terms & Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Lumea Films website and the photography services we provide. By accessing our website or booking our services, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Services

Lumea Films provides professional photography and cinematography services including but not limited to: Wedding, Engagement, Pre-Wedding, Birthday, Maternity, Portrait, Headshot, Fashion, Product, Architectural, Food, and Commercial Photography.

Bookings & Deposits

  • All bookings must be confirmed with a non-refundable booking deposit of 30% of the total package price

  • Your date is only secured once the deposit is received

  • The remaining balance is due 7 days before your event date

  • Bookings are subject to availability

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made 30+ days before the event: deposit is forfeited but no further charges apply

  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the event: 50% of the total package fee is due

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the event: 100% of the total package fee is due

  • Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and must be made at least 14 days in advance

Delivery of Images

  • Edited photos will be delivered via a private online gallery within 4–6 weeks of the event date

  • Rush delivery within 2 weeks is available for an additional fee

  • Images will be available for download for 6 months from the delivery date

  • We recommend downloading and backing up your images immediately upon receipt

Image Rights & Usage

  • All photographs taken by Lumea Films remain the intellectual property of Lumea Films

  • Clients receive a personal use licence — images may be printed, shared on social media, and used for personal purposes

  • Images may not be sold, commercially licensed, or altered without prior written permission

  • Lumea Films reserves the right to use images for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes unless a written request to opt out is received before the session

Client Responsibilities

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring adequate time and access for photography

  • Lumea Films is not liable for missed shots due to time constraints, restricted access, or uncooperative guests

  • Any specific shot requirements must be communicated in writing before the event

Force Majeure

  • Lumea Films will not be held liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control including natural disasters, illness, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule.

Limitation of Liability

  • In the unlikely event of equipment failure, loss of data, or unforeseen circumstances, Lumea Films' liability is limited to a full refund of payments received. We are not liable for any consequential or indirect losses.

Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kerala, India.
